Author Guidlines
Title
The title should be concise and informative, reflecting the research results, variables, and the relationships between them. The article title should not exceed 12 words.
Abstract
The abstract is written in Indonesian and should include the research objective, method, findings, limitations/implications (if any), and research originality/significance. The abstract must be written in Arial Heading 10.5, with single spacing. The maximum word count for the abstract is 250 words. Keywords should be written in italics and should not exceed 5 keywords. The Indonesian abstract must contain the objective, method, findings, limitations/implications (if any), and research originality/significance (eye-catching format).
Below the abstract paragraph, include Keywords, with a maximum of 6 keywords. Keywords should be specific and frequently used in the article, as they will be used for indexing purposes.
1. Introduction
This section contains background information, research rationale, problem statement, objectives, and paper organization. The introduction should not include subheadings.
2. Theoretical Framework
The theoretical framework title can use the name of the theory or method to be applied. This section presents the theoretical foundation used in the methodology to generate findings as results.
3. Research Methodology
This section outlines the research steps taken by the researcher in a concise yet comprehensive manner. If data collection is involved, details must be provided from sampling methods to data analysis techniques.
4. Results and Discussion
The results and discussion should be presented concisely and clearly, focusing on the scientific framework obtained rather than just a series of data tables or figures.
5. Conclusion
The conclusion should address the research objectives and be written in three paragraphs, as follows:
- First paragraph: Explain how your research contributes to advancing the field beyond the current knowledge state. Without a clear conclusion, reviewers and readers may find it difficult to assess the significance of the work and its suitability for publication. Do not repeat the abstract or simply list experimental results.
- Second paragraph: Provide a clear scientific justification for your work, highlight potential applications and extensions, and discuss the limitations of your research. These limitations can serve as opportunities for future studies by other researchers.
- Third paragraph: Suggest future experiments and/or discuss ongoing experiments.
Acknowledgments
If necessary, acknowledgments may be included as a form of appreciation for individuals or institutions that contributed to the research but do not qualify as authors. For example, acknowledgment can be given to funding providers related to the publication.
References
The total number of pages for articles in this journal must be at least 8 pages. Every article published in the TMJ Journal must comply with the standard formatting guidelines in this guide, which refer to journals published by Elsevier (www.sciencedirect.com). The journal template can be downloaded here.
Cite primary scientific publications that form the foundation of your research. Only cite sources you have read that were published within the last five years. Avoid excessive self-citations (maximum of 8 self-citations) and excessive citations from the same region. Authors are encouraged to cite articles from ABDI Journal.
Ensure that each reference is verified against the original source (including author names, volume, issue, year, and DOI number). Use reference management software such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Reference articles from the same journal as a model. All cited publications in the text must be included in the reference list. References should be numbered in order of appearance and indicated in parentheses. Ensure that each cited reference in the text appears in the reference list and vice versa. If a reference appears in the abstract, it must be fully cited. Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended in the reference list but may be mentioned in the text. If included in the reference list, they should follow the journal's standard reference format and substitute the publication date with "unpublished results" or "personal communication".
