Post-Publication Discussion

Technomedia Journal (TMJ) encourages open scholarly dialogue, constructive criticism, and responsible academic engagement with articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion is an important component of scholarly communication that enables readers, authors, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to clarify findings, evaluate methodologies, and critically examine the implications of published research.

TMJ welcomes substantive comments, scholarly critiques, clarifications, and questions concerning published articles, particularly those related to strategic management, digital transformation, technology-driven innovation, digital business models, sustainable digital development, and strategic management education. Such discussions are intended to strengthen academic knowledge, encourage evidence-based perspectives, and support continuous improvements in scholarly research and professional practice.

1. Submission of Comments and Discussions

Readers who wish to comment on or discuss an article published in Technomedia Journal may contact the Editorial Team through the journal's official communication channels. Submissions should clearly identify the article concerned, including its title, author(s), publication details, and Digital Object Identifier (DOI) or article URL, where available.

The submission should provide a clear explanation of the issue being discussed and include relevant academic references, supporting evidence, or additional documentation when necessary. Comments must be directly relevant to the published article and demonstrate a meaningful scholarly contribution.

Discussions may address research methodologies, data analysis, interpretation of findings, technological applications, managerial implications, or the reliability of reported information. They may also identify opportunities for further research, theoretical development, technological innovation, and practical applications within the journal's scope.

2. Editorial Assessment

All submissions concerning published articles will be assessed by the Editor-in-Chief or an editor designated by the Editorial Team. The assessment will consider the relevance, scholarly significance, accuracy, clarity, supporting evidence, and ethical appropriateness of the submission.

Where necessary, the Editorial Team may request additional information, supporting documentation, or clarification from the individual submitting the comment. The assessment will be conducted fairly and independently, with appropriate consideration of potential conflicts of interest.

The Editorial Team may invite the original author(s) to respond to substantive comments or concerns. Depending on the nature of the discussion, the submitted comment and corresponding author response may be considered for publication as a Letter to the Editor, scholarly commentary, or another appropriate form of academic correspondence.

Such submissions may undergo additional editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review before publication. The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized editor, and acceptance of a comment does not automatically indicate the journal's endorsement of the views expressed.

3. Author Responses

Authors of published articles will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to substantive scholarly comments, questions, or criticisms concerning their research. Responses should address the issues raised clearly, objectively, and respectfully, supported by appropriate evidence, methodological explanations, or academic references when necessary.

The purpose of an author response is to clarify the original research, explain methodological or interpretative decisions, acknowledge valid limitations, and contribute to a balanced scholarly exchange. Authors are encouraged to engage constructively with legitimate academic criticism and cooperate with the Editorial Team when clarification or corrective action is necessary.

Where appropriate, TMJ may publish scholarly comments together with the corresponding author responses to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the discussion. Such exchanges should contribute to research transparency, academic accountability, and the advancement of knowledge in digital business, technology management, and related multidisciplinary fields.

4. Ethical Standards for Post-Publication Discussion

All post-publication discussions must uphold academic integrity, fairness, transparency, objectivity, and professional respect. Comments and author responses must be evidence-based, relevant to the scholarly content of the published article, and expressed using appropriate academic language.

Technomedia Journal will not consider or publish submissions containing personal attacks, defamatory statements, discriminatory language, harassment, unsupported allegations, deliberate misrepresentation, or content unrelated to legitimate scholarly discussion.

Individuals raising concerns about published research are expected to provide sufficient information to enable the Editorial Team to assess the matter objectively. The identities and personal information of individuals involved will be handled responsibly, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations and the requirements of a fair editorial assessment.

TMJ also expects contributors to respect intellectual property rights, research confidentiality, and responsible use of scientific information. Comments involving sensitive research data, proprietary technologies, organizational information, or confidential materials must comply with applicable ethical and legal requirements.

5. Errors, Research Integrity, and Editorial Action

If a post-publication discussion identifies potential factual errors, methodological limitations, inaccurate interpretations, authorship concerns, undisclosed conflicts of interest, plagiarism, unreliable research data, or other issues affecting the integrity of a published article, the Editorial Team will assess the matter in accordance with TMJ's Publication Ethics policy.

Where necessary, the Editorial Team may request explanations from the original author(s), seek advice from independent academic experts, or conduct further editorial investigations. Authors are expected to cooperate with reasonable inquiries and provide supporting documentation when requested.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of the identified issue, appropriate editorial action may include publishing a correction, clarification, Expression of Concern, or formal retraction. Such actions will be based on documented evidence, proportionality, and applicable publication ethics principles, including relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Any necessary post-publication notice should be clearly identified and appropriately linked to the original article to preserve transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record. Editorial decisions will prioritize research reliability, academic accountability, and the interests of the scientific community.

Post-publication discussion does not replace the journal's formal procedures for addressing allegations of research misconduct. Concerns involving potential misconduct will be handled through the appropriate editorial process, with due consideration for confidentiality, impartiality, and the opportunity for relevant parties to respond.

6. Transparency and Commitment

Technomedia Journal is committed to promoting responsible post-publication discussion as part of its broader commitment to trustworthy scholarly communication, editorial transparency, and continuous academic improvement. The journal aims to ensure that substantive academic concerns are assessed fairly and that relevant corrections, clarifications, or editorial notices are communicated transparently when necessary.

Through this policy, TMJ seeks to strengthen the credibility and reliability of published research, encourage constructive exchanges among scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, and promote the responsible development of knowledge in strategic management, digital transformation, technological innovation, and sustainable digital business practices.

The journal also recognizes the importance of scholarly discussion in advancing research contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), where relevant to the published research.

TMJ remains committed to maintaining an open, fair, and academically responsible environment in which published research can be critically examined, clarified, corrected when necessary, and further developed through constructive scholarly engagement.
