Abstrak

Peserta didik pada beberapa kondisi dan alasan dapat mengajukan mutasi keluar dan masuk E perubahan data, sehingga untuk efisiensi penyesuaian data diperlukan implementasi metode database life cycle. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang desain model database mutasi siswa dengan menerapkan metode database life cycle. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian  studi kasus dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan yakni mengeksplorasi jurnal, buku dan informasi lain yang relevan dengan kajian. Analisis dan desain model database menggunakan Metode Database Life Cycle (DBLC) yang berfokus pada desain database konseptual, desain database logis, dan desain basis data fisik. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah model rancangan basis data dengan menerapkan metode DBLC yang memiliki relasi antar tabel atau relasional serta memiliki fungsi utama untuk menyimpan serta memelihara data serta mampu menjawab keperluan pengelolaan informasi yang diharapkan mampu mempermudah proses mutasi siswa.
